Ingenious technology, remarkable wash quality and ecological friendliness have arrived to car washing in Lake County thanks to Main Street USA Car Wash located on Rt. 83 just south of Rt. 173 in Antioch, IL.

A full remodel of the facility has recently been completed which introduces brand new state of the art 3-D profiling car washing equipment to map each vehicle’s unique size and shape to provide a customized wash to each and every car and truck ranging from Duallys and Large SUVs to Mini-Coopers and Smart Cars.

Made in the USA, the IQ Touch Free and IQ Soft-Touch Automatics from D&S Car Wash Systems are revolutionizing the car wash industry and Main Street USA Car Wash is the first to bring these machines to Northern Illinois. “Car washing technology has advanced significantly in the past 10 years and D&S is the leader in innovation providing a higher quality and safer vehicle wash while also giving our customers a wow factor they’ve never seen before in this area.” Jim Berry, Manager of Main Street USA Car Wash. Other upgraded features include Bio-Degradable Chemicals, Undercarriage Wash, Bug Off Applicator, Wheel Blasters and an LED Foaming Wax Curtain that you have to see to believe. 

In addition to the new automated car wash equipment, Main Street USA Car Wash has also introduced Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to their pay stations similar to what is used in the iPass Tollway system, which enables customers to enroll in a Monthly Unlimited Wash Club that can be used 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

No more worrying about if it will rain or snow or if the car wash is closed when your car is dirty. The RFID readers identify each vehicle and automatically open the doors to enter the wash without needing to roll down your window or pull out your wallet.
